Dear Chairman Mendelson:
Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1-
204.51) and section 202 of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of2010 (D.C. Official Code§
2-352.02), enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is
proposed Modification No. M0l to Contract No. DCKA-2023-C-0040 with Dewberry Engineers
Inc. (Dewberry) to exercise option year one of the contract in the not-to-exceed amount of
$10,000,000. The contract modification's period of performance is from July 25, 2025, through
July 24, 2026.
Under the proposed modification, Dewberry shall continue to provide construction management
services for citywide local pavement restoration projects.

In accordance with Contract No. DCKA-2023-C-0040 Section F.2 – Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, the
District hereby exercises Option Year 1 as follows:

1. The period of performance is extended from July 25, 2025, through July 24, 2026.

2. The Option Year 1 not-to-exceed ceiling remains $10,000,000.00 as specified in Section B.4.2 of the Contract.
The District will order a minimum amount of $50,000.00 in Option Year 1.

3. Section I.8(2) of the Contract is hereby updated as follows:
