Pursuant to Section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1 -204.51) and
section 202 of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 (D.C. Official Code § 2 -352.02), enclosed
for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is proposed Modification No.
M0005 to Contract No. CW 101573 with AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation to exercise option year
three in the not-to-exceed amount of $15,000,000. The period of performance is October 1, 2025, through
September 30, 2026.
Under the proposed modification, DC Health will renew its pharmaceutical wholesale distribution services
to partner pharmacies and clinics throughout the District.

SUBJECT: Certification of Funding Availability for AmerisourceBergen, Contract # CW101573

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer hereby certifies that the sum of $15,000,000.00 is included in the
District’s Budget and Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2026, dependent on a final approved budget,
FY25 carryover of federal grants, and reprogramming of federal grant and special purpose
revenue funds in FY26. This certification supports the AmerisourceBergen contract during the
period from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026 for a total of $15,000,000.00 to supply
pharmaceuticals to the Department of Health HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB Administration
for its AIDS Drug Assistance Program and for its sexually transmitted diseases and tuberculosis
health and wellness clinical program. There is no fiscal impact associated with the contract.

1. In accordance with Section F.2 “Option to Extend the Term of the Contract,” the Government of the
District of Columbia hereby exercises Option Year Three to extend the term of the Contract for the period
from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, in the amount not-to-exceed $15,000,000.
2. In accordance with the Way to Work Amendment Act of 2016, Section 38(d) of the Standard Contract
Provisions, the living wage rate is hereby adjusted to $17.95 per hour, effective July 1, 2025.The Living
Wage Act Fact Sheet for 2025 is attached and hereby incorporated in the contract
3. The Living Wage Act Notice for 2025 is attached and hereby incorporated in the contract.
4. U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination No.2015-4281 Revision No. 33 date 04/25/2025 is incorporated
by reference.
