Dear Chairman Mendelson:
Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (D.C. Official Code § 1 -
204.51) and section 202 of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 (D.C. Official Code §
2-352.02), enclosed for consideration and approval by the Council of the District of Columbia is
proposed Modification No. M001 to Contract No. DCKA -2024-C-0102 with Treeman, Inc.
(Treeman), to exercise option year one in the not -to-exceed amount of $1,602,100. The period of
performance is from December 20, 2025, through December 19, 2026.
Under the proposed modification, Treeman will continue to provide tree pruning services in the
District of Columbia.

In accordance with Contract No. DCKA-2024-C-0102 § F.2 – Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, the District
hereby exercises Option Year 1 as follows:
1. The period of performance of the contract is extended from December 20, 2025, through December 19, 2026.
2. The Option Year 1 Not-to-Exceed ceiling remains $1,602,100.00 as specified in Section B.8.2 of the
Contract. The District will order a minimum amount of $5,275.00 in Option Year 1.
3. Attachment J.2 is hereby updated as follows:
