To honor and recognize Brett Greene on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the 28
American Management Corporation. 29

WHEREAS, Brett Greene is a respected leader, entrepreneur, and advocate whose vision 31
and dedication led to the founding of American Management Corporation (AMC) in 2001; 32

WHEREAS, for 25 years AMC has been noted as a premier government relations and 34
consulting firm serving corporate, nonprofit, and government clients across the metropolitan 35
Washington, DC region; 36

WHEREAS, under the leadership of Brett Greene, AMC has provided strategic advice, 38
government relations expertise, and community engagement services that have strengthened 39
partnerships between the public and private sectors; 40

WHEREAS, Brett Greene and AMC have consistently demonstrated a deep commitment 42
to assisting local organizations effectively navigate complex public policy, regulatory and 43
community issues that surface in the District of Columbia; 44

WHEREAS, the success and longevity of AMC reflect not only sound business 46
leadership, but also a strong commitment to the civic and economic vitality of the District; 47
WHEREAS, as a proud and enduring DC-based small business, AMC represents among 48
the finest examples of the depth of DC’s entrepreneurial community; 49

WHEREAS, the 25th anniversary of American Management Corporation on June 11, 51
2026, marked a significant milestone in the history of this distinguished local company; a 52
company that for a quarter of a century has demonstrated a steadfast commitment of excellence, 53
integrity, innovation, and dedicated service to Washington, DC; and 54

WHEREAS, we gratefully acknowledge Mr. Greene’s investment and thank him for the 56
contribution he has made to our community. 57

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that the 59
Council of the District of Columbia recognizes Brett Green for his leadership and congratulates 60
him on the 25th anniversary of the American Management Corporation, with appreciation for his 61
contributions to the economic life of the District. 62

Sec. 2. The resolution may be cited as the “Brett Green and American Management 64
Corporation Recognition Resolution of 2026.” 65

Sec. 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon the first date of publication in 67
the District of Columbia Register. 68
