IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

February 4, 2025

To approve, on an emergency basis, the transfer of jurisdiction over the Robert F. Kennedy
Memorial Stadium Campus from the National Park Service to the District of Columbia.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Transfer of Jurisdiction Over the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial
Stadium Campus Emergency Approval Resolution of 2025”.

Sec. 2. Pursuant to section 1 of An Act To authorize the transfer of jurisdiction over
public land in the District of Columbia, approved May 20, 1932 (47 Stat. 161; D.C. Official
Code § 10-111), and the D.C. Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium Campus Revitalization Act,
approved January 6, 2025 (Pub. L. No. 118-274; 138 Stat. 3234), the Council approves the
transfer of jurisdiction of a portion of Reservation 343-F from the National Park Service to the
District of Columbia, as shown on the Surveyor’s plat in S.O. 25-01723.

Sec. 3. Transmittal.
The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the Mayor, the
Surveyor of the District of Columbia, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives,
the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate, the Director of the National Park Service,
and the Regional Director of the National Capital Region of the National Park Service.

Sec. 4. Fiscal impact statement.
The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Chief Financial Officer as the fiscal
impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975,
approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1-301.47a).

Sec. 5. Effective date.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
