A RESOLUTION

26-169

IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

July 14, 2025

To confirm the appointment of Mark Mogle to the Science Advisory Board.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Science Advisory Board Mark Mogle Confirmation Resolution of
2025”.

Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

Mark Mogle
Meridian Place, NW
Washington, DC 20010
(Ward 1)

as a forensic scientist who is not currently employed by the Department of Forensic Sciences or
by a law enforcement laboratory or agency that provides forensic science services to the District
member of the Science Advisory Board, established by section 12 of the Department of Forensic
Sciences Establishment Act of 2011, effective August 17, 2011 (D.C. Law 19-18; D.C. Official
Code § 5-1501.11), for a term to end April 18, 2028.

Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.

Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
