To confirm the appointment of Jennifer Crumlish to the Violence Fatality Review Committee.
RESOLVED , BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the "Violence Fatality Review Committee Jennifer Crumlish
Confirmation Resolution of 2025".
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Dr. Jennifer Crumlish
Van Buren Street, NW
Washington, DC 20012
(Ward 4)
as a community member who is not a District government employee member of the Violence
Fatality Review Committee, established by section 3042 of the Fatality Review Committee
Amendment Act of 2018, effective October 30, 2018 (D.C. Law 22-168; D.C. Official Code§ 5-
1431.01 ), filling a vacant seat formerly held by Roger Mitchell, for the remainder of an
unexpired term to end October 12, 2025, and for a subsequent term to end October 12, 2028.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Dr. Jennife
r Crumlish is a partner in the Washington Psychological
Center, the Assistant Director of the Suicide Prevention Lab at the
Catholic University of America, an d a Senior Consultant with CAMS-
care, LLC. She is also a community member on the D.C. Developmental
Disabilities Fatality Review Committee.
Dr. Crumlish has taught courses in the graduate psychology program at
Catholic University in psychopath ology and diagnostic assessment and
supervised students in the psychotherapy practicum. Previously, she was
a staff psychologist at the Kingsbury Center in D.C., where she conducted
neuropsychological assessments of school-aged children and adolescents
and provided individual and group psychotherapy to students attending
the Kingsbury School. From 2006 until 2017, Dr . Crumlish was a consultant to the D.C.
Department of Human Services Adult Protective Services division and conducted capacity
evaluations of adults throughout the city.
A Ward 4 resident, Dr. Crumlish received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Catholic
University of America and her Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgetown University.
