A RESOLUTION

26-294

IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

January 6, 2026

To confirm the reappointment of Adam R. Hunter to the Rental Housing Commission.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Rental Housing Commission Adam R. Hunter Confirmation
Resolution of 2026”.

Sec 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Adam R. Hunter
R Street, SE
Washington, DC 20020
(Ward 7)

as Chairperson of the Rental Housing Commission, established by section 201 of the Rental
Housing Act of 1985, effective July 17, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-10; D.C. Official Code § 42-3502.01),
for a term to end July 18, 2028.

Sec 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Mayor.

Sec 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
