Committee Print Committee on Youth Affairs PR26-0358 January 27, 2026 1 2 3 4 5 A PROPOSED RESOLUTION 6 __________ 7 8 IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 9 ____________________ 10 11 To confirm the appointment of Tanya Torres Trice as the Director of the Child and Family 12 Services Agency. 13 14 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 15 resolution may be cited as the “Director of the Child and Family Services Agency Tanya Torres 16 Trice Confirmation Resolution of 2025". 17 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: 18 Tanya Torres Trice 19 Gentain Court, NE 20 Washington, DC 20017 21 (Ward 5) 22 23 as the Director of the Child and Family Services Agency, established by section 301a of the 24 Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Act of 1977, effective April 4, 2001 (D.C. Law 13-277; 25 D.C. Official Code §4-1303.0la), to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. 26 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 27 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. 28 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 29
