RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this 21
resolution may be cited as the “Historic Preservation Review Board Lauren McHale 22
Confirmation Resolution of 2026”. 23
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: 24

as an architectural historian member of the Historic Preservation Review Board, established by 31
Mayor's Order 83-119, dated May 6, 1983, and pursuant to section 4 of the Historic Landmark 32
and Historic District Protection Act of 1978, effective March 3, 1979 (D.C. Law 2-144; D.C. 33
Official Code§ 6-1103), filling a vacant seat formerly held by Gretchen Pfaehler, for a term to 34
end July 21, 2027. 35
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 36
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. 37
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 38
