IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

To disapprove, on an emergency basis, reprogramming request No. 26-0097 of $7,000,000 of FY 1
2026 Capital Funds budget authority and allotment within the Department of Parks and 2
Recreation from the Anacostia pool replacement and Congress Heights modernization to 3
complete the construction of the Southeast Tennis Learning Center project. 4

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 6
resolution may be cited as the “Department of Parks and Recreation Funding Reprogramming 7
Request No. 26-0097 Disapproval Emergency Resolution of 2025”. 8
Sec. 2. (a) Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 47-363, the Mayor transmitted to the Council 9
reprogramming request No. 26-0097 in the amount of $7,000,000 of FY 2026 Capital Funds 10
budget authority and allotment within the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) from the 11
Anacostia pool replacement and Congress Heights Recreation Center modernization to complete 12
the construction of the Southeast Tennis Learning Center. 13
(b) The Council disapproves the $7,000,000 reprogramming request. 14
Sec. 3. The Secretary of the Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of 15
this resolution, upon its adoption, to the Mayor. 16

Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 17
