18 resolution may be cited as the "Real Property Tax Appeals Commission Cliftine Jones
19 Confirmation Resolution of 2025".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Ms.
Cliftine Jones is a licensed Real Estate Broker at Cliftine Jones, Ltd.
and is a current commissioner on the Real Property Tax Appeals
Commission.
Ms. Jones has over forty years of residential and commercial real estate
experience. Ms. Jones is a former Mortgage Broker and Independence
Federal Savings Bank Mortgage Loan Officer. In this role, she originated
mortgage loans in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Ms. Jones also
utilized her managerial expertise to oversee the successful operation of a
boutique real estate firm.
Ms. Jones has served as Board Member and Chairperson on the Board of
Real Property Assessments and Appeals. In addition, Ms. Jones was elected as Director of
Development for the Woman’s National Democratic Club and is a charter member of the National
Museum of African-American History and Culture’s 2015 Society. Ms. Jones has also maintained
membership with the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, the Historical Society of
Washington, D.C., and the D.C. Preservation League.
A Ward 4 resident, Ms. Jones earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Spelman College, her
Master of Fine Arts from Howard University, and her Master of Journalism from George
Washington University.
