20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

Mr.
Trent Williams has served as a business financial advisor for several
financial institutions and is the current Chairperson of the Real Property
Tax Appeals Commission (RPTAC).
Mr. Williams previously served as a business associate at Lewis Law
Firm and a portfolio advisor associate at Wheat First Butcher Singer . In
these roles, he leveraged his advisory expertise to support the business
transactions and real estate and investment pursuits of American Express
and affiliate clients. His service to the District has included participation
in the DC Small and Local Business Opportunity Commission, the DC
Coalition for Capital, and the DC Real Property Tax Appeals
Commission.
Over the last ten years, Mr. Williams has demonstrated leadership on real estate development
ventures nationally and abroad. He dedicates his time to improving the circumstances of
underprivileged youth, low-income families, and the homeless.
A Ward 2 resident, Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University
of Virginia and his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from the College of
William and Mary.
