A RESOLUTION

26-353

IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

March 3, 2026

To confirm the appointment of Dr. Sean Morgan as the Medical Director of the Fire and
Emergency Medical Services Department.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the “Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department Medical
Director Dr. Sean Morgan Confirmation Resolution of 2026”.

Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

Dr. Sean Morgan
57th Street, SE
Washington, DC 20019
(Ward 7)

as the Medical Director of the Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, in accordance
with section 3a(a) of An Act To classify the officers and members of the fire department of the
District of Columbia, and for other purposes, effective April 15, 2008 (D.C. Law 17-147; D.C.
Official Code § 5-404.01(a)), to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.

Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Mayor.

Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
