18 RESOLVED ,. BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
19 resolution may be cited as the "Public Service Commission Emile Thompson Confirmation
20 Resolution of 2026".
21 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

28 as a member, and his redesignation as the Chairperson, of the Public Service Commission of the
29 District of Columbia, established by section 8(97) of An Act Making appropriations to provide

31 thirtieth, nineteenth hundred and fourteen, and for other purposes, approved March 4, 1913 (3 7
32 Stat. 995, D.C. Official Code§ 34-801), for a term to end June 30, 2030.
33 Sec. 3, The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
34 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
35 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
