IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
To confi,rrn the reappointment of Claudine Carter Pereira to the Science Advisory Board.
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA , That this
resolution may be cited as the "Science Advisory Board Claudine Carter Pereira Confirmation
Resolution of 2026''.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:
Claudine Carter Pereira
SE 6th Street
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
as a forensic scientist not currently employed by the Department of Forensic Sciences or by a
law enforcement laboratory or agency that provides forensic science services to the District
member of the Science Advisory Board, established by section 12 of the Department of Forensic
Sciences Establishment Act of 2011, effective August 17, 201 1 (D.C. Law 19-18; D.C. Official
Code§ 5-1501.11), for a term to end April 18, 2029.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Ms.PereriaisanANAB ISO17025andISO17020CertifiedTechnicalAssessorintheFrictionRidgedisciplineandhasbeenonnumerousassessmentsintheUS andabroad,aswellasbeingchosenasaSiteLeaderforanInternationalassessment.Ms.PereriawaselectedtotheBoardof
DirectorsfortheAmericanSocietyofCrimeLaboratoryDirectorsandservesontheMembershipCommitteeandChairsboththeAdvocacyandSponsorshipCommittees.Shealsoservesoncommitteesforvariousotherprofessionalorganizationsincluding:theForensicManagementCommitteefortheInternationalAssociationforIdentification(IAI),theLatentPrintCertificationCommitteeandtheLatentPrintIdentificationCommitteefortheFloridaDivisionofthe
