142; D.C. Official Code § 1- 523.01), and pursuant to section 4604 of the Child Fatality Review
Committee Establishment Act of 2001, effective October 3, 2001 (D.C. Law 14-28; D.C. Official Code
§ 4-1371.04), I am pleased to nominate the following person:

17 RESOLVED , BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
18 resolution may be cited as the "Child Fatality Review Committee Dr. Jacqueline Francis
19 Confirmation Resolution of 2026".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

31 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
32 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.

r. Jacqueline Francis
D
r. Jacqueline Francis is a pediatrician and Medical Officer at the Food
and Drug Administration (FDA).
Dr. Francis began her career in the FDA’s Office of In -Vitro Diagnostic
Devices, where she worked in the microbiology branch as a clinical
consultant. In her current office, the Office of Device Evaluation in the
Division of Surgical Devices, she specializes in policy, regulation, and
clinical protocol design of plastic and reconstructive surgery devices as
well as pediatric devices. Dr. Francis also serves as an Attending
Physician with the KIDS Mobile Clinic of Medstar Hospital and the Hoya
Clinic, which serves the shelter patients at DC General Campus.
A Ward 6 resident, Dr. Francis received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Biochemistry from
Cornell University, Doctor of Medicine from the Temple University School of Medicine, and
Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
