Committee Print PR26-0536 1 Committee on Health 2 March 9, 2026 3 4 5 A PROPOSED RESOLUTION 6 ________ 7 8 IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 9 10 ________________ 11 12 To confirm the reappointment of Dr. Leighton Ku to the District of Columbia Health Benefit 13 Exchange Authority Executive Board. 14 15 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 16 resolution may be cited as the “Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive Board Leighton 17 Ku Confirmation Resolution of 2026”. 18 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of: 19 20 Dr. Leighton Ku 21 Ingleside Terrace, NW 22 Washington, DC 20010 23 (Ward 1) 24 25 as a voting member of the District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive 26 Board, established by section 6 of the Health Benefit Exchange Authority Establishment Act of 27 2011, effective March 2, 2012 (D.C. Law 19-94; D.C. Official Code § 31-3171.05), for a term to 28 end July 6, 2029. 29 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 30 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. 31 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 32
