In accordance with section
2 of the Confirmation Act of 1978, effective March 3, 1979 (D.C. Law 2-
142; D.C. Official Code § 1-523.01), and pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 47-2853.06(h) and Mayor’s
Order 2009-11, dated February 2, 2009, I am pleased to nominate the following individual:

for reappointment as a real estate broker licensed in the District member of the Real Estate Commission,
for a term to end December 13, 2028.
Enclosed, you will find biographical information detailing the experience of the above-m entioned
nominee, together with a proposed resolution to assist the Council during the confirmation process.

17 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA , that this
18 resolution may be cited as the "Real Estate Commission Elizabeth Blakeslee Confirmation
19 Resolution of 2026".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of

27 as a real estate broker licensed in the District member of the Real Estate Commission,
28 established by D.C. Official Code§ 47-2853.06(h) as the Board of Real Estate and redesignated
29 as the Real Estate Commission by Mayor 's Order 2009-11, dated February 2, 2009, for a term to
30 end December 13, 2028.
31 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
32 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.
33 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Elizabeth Blakeslee
Ms. Elizabeth Blakeslee is a licensed real estate broker affiliated with
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and is a current member of the
Real Estate Commission.
Ms. Blakeslee has been in residential real estate sales for over 30 years.
Currently and during her time with Prudential Preferred Properties, Ms.
Blakeslee trained and mentored new sales agents and served as an
advocate for buyers’ interests in the real estate purchasing process.
Ms. Blakeslee has been actively involved in the real estate community ,
servingin numerous leadership capacities for the District of Columbia
Association of Realtors, Capital Area Association of Realtors, and National Association of
Realtors.
A Ward 2 resident, Ms. Blakeslee received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communication from
Kent State University.
