2 of the Confirmation Act of 1978, effective March 3, 1979 (D.C. Law 2-
142; D.C. Official Code § 1-523.01), and pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 47-2853.06(h) and Mayor’s
Order 2009-11, dated February 2, 2009, I am pleased to nominate the following individual:

for appointment as a n attorney admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia and engaged in the
practice of real estate law member of the Real Estate Commission, filling a vacant seat formerly held

subsequent term to end December 13, 2029.

A PROPOSED RESOLUTION
IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
To confirm the appointment of Carol Calomiris to the Real Estate Commission .
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, that this
resolution may be cited as the "Real Estate Commission Carol Calomiris Confirmation
Resolution of 2026".
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

Washington, DC 20015
(Ward 3)
as an attorney admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia and engaged in the practice of real
estate law member of the Real Estate Commission , established by D.C . Official Code§ 47-
2853.06(h) as the Board of Real Estate and redesignated as the Real Estate Commission by
Mayor's Order 2009-11, dated February 2, 2009, filling a vacant seat formerly held by Ulani
Gulstone, for the remainder of an unexpired term to end December 13, 2026, and for a
subsequent term to end December 13, 2029.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

s. Carol Calomiris is a Senior Managing Attorney for the RGS Title,
LLC (RGS) Jenifer Street office in Washington, DC. She manages RGS
Title with over 30 years of real estate and legal expertise.
Ms. Calomiris began her career in real estate law in 1993 when she opened
her law firm, Calomiris & Calomiris PA, which provides a wide range of
legal services to the real estate community. She is a member of
Montgomery County, Maryland State, District of Columbia, and Supreme
Court Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Maryland, District
of Columbia, and Virginia Land Title Associations. In addition to
conducting residential and commercial settlements in MD, DC, and
VA for ROS, she is a member on the Public Policy Committee of the
District of Columbia Association of REALTORS (DCAR), in which she helps to draft legislation
and lobby for the realtor community. She is also a member of the DC Public Policy Committee for
the Greater Capital Area Association of REAL TORS (GCAAR), where she assists in reviewing
state legislation and lobby for the realtor community. In addition to her professional work, Carol
enjoys teaching continuing education classes for real estate professionals in MD, DC, and VA.
A Ward 3 resident, Ms. Calomiris earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History
from Duke University and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.
