Committee Print PR26-0600 1 Committee on Health 2 May 20, 2026 3 4 5 A PROPOSED RESOLUTION 6 7 ________ 8 9 IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 10 11 ________________ 12 13 14 To confirm the appointment of Brianna Jones to the Board of Nursing. 15 16 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 17 resolution may be cited as the “Board of Nursing Brianna Jones Confirmation Resolution of 18 2026”. 19 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: 20 21 Brianna Jones 22 Channing Place, NE 23 Washington, DC 20018 24 (Ward 5) 25 26 as the nursing home administrator, assisted living administrator, or home health care 27 administrator licensed in the District member of the Board of Nursing, established by section 204 28 of the District Columbia Health Occupations Revision Act of 1985, effective March 25, 1986 29 (D.C. Law 6-99; D.C. Official Code § 3-1202.04), filling a vacant seat formerly held by Ronald 30 Cheli, for the remainder of an unexpired term to end July 21, 2027. 31 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 32 upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor. 33 Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 34
