A RESOLUTION

26-394

IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

May 5, 2026

To approve the multiyear extension of Contract No. CFOPD-20-C-014 with Fidelity
Information Services, LLC to continue to provide Electronic Benefits Transfer services
on behalf of the Office of Finance and Treasury, for the Human Services Benefit program
managed by the Department of Human Services.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cit ed as the “Contract No. CFOPD -20-C-014 Extension and Payment
Authorization Approval R esolution of 2026”.

Sec. 2. (a) Pursuant to s ection 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act,
approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 803; D.C. Official Code § 1- 204.51), and section 202
of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010, effective April 8, 2011 (D.C. Law 18-371;
D.C. Official Code § 2- 352.02), the Counc il approves multiyear option period 2 to Contract
No. CFOPD- 20-C-014 with Fidelity Information Services, LLC to provide merchant services
processing on behalf of the Office of Finance and Treasury.
(b) The period of performance for the multiyear option is from June 1, 2026, through
May 31, 2028, in the not -to-exceed amount of $ 5,372,426.00.

Sec. 3. Transmittal.
The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the Chief
Financial Officer.

Sec. 4. Fiscal impact statement.
The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Chief Financial O fficer as the
fiscal impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of
1975, approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1- 301.47a).

Sec. 5. Effective date.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
