effective December 7, 2004 (D.C. Law 15-216; D.C. Official Code § 2- 1404.03), I am pleased to

17 RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
18 resolution may be cited as the "Commission on Human Rights Jordyn White Confirmation
19 Resolution of 2026".
20 Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:

30 unexpired term to end December 31, 2028.
31 Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,

Ms. J
ordyn White currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Outreach
and Training at the Human Rights Campaign, where she leads national
social impact initiatives centered around issues specific to the LGBTQ
community. She is also the General Manager and cofounder of the
Washington Prodigy, reigning three‐time champions of the United States
Women’s Football League. Since 2016 she has served as the Prodigy’s
delegate on Team DC, the District’s non‐profit LGBTQ+ sports advocacy
organization. In 2014, Ms. White received the Team DC Champions
Award, which is given annually to recognize individual’s contributions to
grow the DC area’s LGBTQ sports organizations.
Ms. White previously served as a Program Officer at the National
Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, a federal advisory agency in DC. She directed
a 2‐year Consensus Study on Understanding the Well‐Being of Sexual and Gender Diverse
Populations, which review ed the available data and future research needs on persons of diverse
sexualities and genders (e.g., LGBTQ+ and MSM), as well as persons with differences in sex
development (sometimes known as intersex), along multiple intersecting dimensions across their
life course.
A Ward 8 resident, Ms. White earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University
of Pittsburgh and her Master of Science in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University.
