To confirm the appointment of James Turner to the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Board. 16

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this 18
resolution may be cited as the "Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Board James Turner 19
Confirmation Resolution of 2026". 20
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: 21

Girard Street, NW 24
Washington, DC 20009 (Ward 1) 25

as a member of the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Board, established by D.C. Official 27
Code§ 25-201, filling a vacant seat formerly held by Jeni Hanson, for the remainder of an 28
unexpired term to end May 7, 2027. 29
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, 30
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor. 31
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. 32
