To confirm the reappointment Erin C. Golding as a member of the Child Support Guideline
Commission.
RESOLVED , BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolution may be cited as the "Child Support Guideline Commission Erin C. Golding
Confirmation Resolution of 2026".
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

as the member of the District of Columbia bar and expert in the fields of family law and child
support member of the Child Support Guideline Commission, established by D.C. Official Code
§ 16-916.02, for a term to end August 11, 2030.
Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution,
upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Ms
. Erin C. Golding is a principal attorney in Offit Kurman’s Family Law
Practice Group. She focuses her practice on helping her clients through
divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property distribution,
paternity, civil protection proceedings, prenuptial agreements and other
matters involving family disputes.
Ms. Golding is a mediator who works with parties to facilitate discussions
and resolve issues related to their separation or other family disputes in
an informative and supportive forum. She serves as a collaborative
attorney for clients who wish to take advantage of the out-of-court
collaborative process to resolve family disputes. Ms. Golding has been
appointed by the Court to represent children as a guardian ad litem or best
interest attorney in complex custody cases. In addition, Ms. Golding serves as a parent coordinator
for coparents who need help and assistance in implementing the terms of their parenting agreement
or custody order.
Ms. Golding is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the D.C. Academy
of Collaborative Professionals, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Ms.
Golding volunteers regularly at the Family Court Self-Help Center at D.C. Superior Court. She
previously served on the D.C. Bar’s Family Law Steering Committee and on the D.C. Court’s
Domestic Relations Branch Subcommittee. She is a past-president and co -founder of the
Collaborative Project of Maryland and a co -founder and continuing board member of the
Collaborative Access Project of Washington, D.C., which provides pro bono and reduced rate legal
services using the Collaborative Process.
A Ward 4 resident, Ms. Golding earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Psychology from
Pomona College and her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University.
