IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA,
TodeclaretheexistenceofanemergencywithrespecttotheneedtoapprovemeasuresthatarenecessarytosupportactiontakenontheDistrict’sFiscalYear2027BudgetandFinancial
RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
resolutionmaybecitedas“FiscalYear2027BudgetSupportEmergencyDeclarationResolution
of2026”.
Sec.2.(a)TheFiscalYear2027BudgetSupportActof2026containsvariousmeasures
necessarytosupporttheFiscalYear2027BudgetandFinancialPlan.
(b)Thereareseveraltime-sensitiveprovisionscontainedintheFiscalYear2027Budget
SupportActof2026thatneedtobeinplaceinadvanceofOctober1,2026.
(c)OtherprovisionsintheemergencybillwillretaintheOctober1,2026,applicability
dateasprovidedinthepermanentlegislationbutshouldbeenactedpriortoOctoberItoallow
agenciesandstakeholderstoprepareforimplementation.
