Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. This act may be cited the "Freedom 1: Property 11
Tax Relief Rollback for All Floridians Act." 12
Section 2. Section 200.1851, Florida Statutes, is created 13
to read: 14
200.1851 Maximum millage rates for the 2027-2028 fiscal 15
year.— 16
(1) Notwithstanding any other law, the maximum county 17
millage rate that may be levied for the 2027-2028 fiscal year is 18
the rate which will provide the same ad valorem tax revenue for 19
the taxing authority as was levied during the 2022-2023 fiscal 20
year. 21
(2) Notwithstanding any other law, the maximum school 22
millage rate that may be levied for the 2027-2028 fiscal year is 23
the rate which will provide the same ad valorem tax revenue for 24
the taxing authority as was levied during the 2022-2023 fiscal 25
