Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section 10
381.9312, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 11
381.9312 Uterine fibroid research database; education and 12
public awareness.— 13
(2) UTERINE FIBROID RESEARCH DATABASE.— 14
(c) The database may not include any personal identifying 15
information of women diagnosed with or treated for uterine 16
fibroids. 17
Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date 18
that HB 1515 or similar legislation takes effect, if such 19
legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an 20
extension thereof and becomes a law. 21
