An act relating to nurse registries; amending s. 2
400.506, F.S.; requiring each nurse registry to 3
display a specified disclaimer in a clear and 4
conspicuous manner on its website and all advertising 5
and marketing materials; providing an effective date. 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Subsection (21) is added to section 400.506, 10
Florida Statutes, to read: 11
400.506 Licensure of nurse registries; requirements; 12
penalties.— 13
(21) Each nurse registry must display, in a clear and 14
conspicuous manner on the homepage of its website and on the 15
face of all digital or print marketing and advertising 16
materials, the following disclaimer: 17

"All caregivers referred by this nurse registry are 19
independent contractors of the client, not employees 20
of either the nurse registry or the client." 21

Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026. 23
