amending s. 112.044, F.S.; authorizing an employer to 3
post specified notices on the Internet in a manner 4
that is accessible to the employer's employees under 5
certain circumstances; amending s. 440.055, F.S.; 6
authorizing an employer to post specified notices on 7
the Internet in a manner that is accessible to the 8
employer's employees and the general public under 9
certain circumstances; amending ss. 443.151, 448.109, 10
450.045, and 760.10, F.S.; conforming provisions to 11
changes made by the act; providing an effective date. 12

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 14
15
Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 112.044, Florida 16
Statutes, is amended to read: 17
112.044 Public employers, employment agencies, labor 18
organizations; discrimination based on age prohibited; 19
exceptions; remedy.— 20
(5) NOTICE TO BE POSTED.—Each employer, employment agency, 21
and labor organization shall post and keep posted in conspicuous 22
places upon its premises, or on the Internet in a manner that is 23
accessible to the employer's employees if permitted under 24
federal law, notices required by the United States Department of 25

Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. 26
Section 2. Section 440.055, Florida Statutes, is amended 27
to read: 28
440.055 Notice requirements.—An employer who employs fewer 29
than four employees, who is permitted by law to elect not to 30
secure payment of compensation under this chapter, and who 31
elects not to do so shall post clear written notice in a 32
conspicuous location at each worksite, or on the Internet in a 33
manner that is accessible to the employer's employees and the 34
general public, directed to all employees and other persons 35
performing services at the worksite of their lack of entitlement 36
to benefits under this chapter. 37
Section 3. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 38
443.151, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 39
443.151 Procedure concerning claims.— 40
(1) POSTING OF INFORMATION.— 41
(a) Each employer must post and maintain in places readily 42
accessible to his or her employees, or on the Internet in a 43
manner that is accessible to his or her employees, individuals 44
in her or his employ printed statements concerning benefit 45
rights, claims for benefits, and other matters relating to the 46
administration of this chapter as the Department of Commerce may 47
by rule prescribe. Each employer must supply to individuals 48
copies of printed statements or other materials relating to 49
claims for benefits as directed by the rules of the department. 50

The department shall supply these printed statements and other 51
materials to each employer without cost to the employer. 52
Section 4. Subsection (2) of section 448.109, Florida 53
Statutes, is amended to read: 54
448.109 Notification of the state minimum wage.— 55
(2) Each employer who must pay an employee the Florida 56
minimum wage shall prominently display a poster substantially 57
similar to the one made available pursuant to subsection (3) on 58
the Internet in a manner that is accessible to the employer's 59
employees or in a conspicuous and accessible place in each 60
establishment where such employees are employed. 61
Section 5. Subsection (2) of section 450.045, Florida 62
Statutes, is amended to read: 63
450.045 Proof of identity and age; posting of notices.— 64
(2) Any person who hires, employs, or suffers to work any 65
minor shall post on the Internet in a manner that is accessible 66
to his or her employees, or at a conspicuous place on the 67
property or place of employment, where it may be easily read, a 68
poster notifying minors of the Child Labor Law, to be provided 69
by the division upon request. 70
Section 6. Subsection (11) of section 760.10, Florida 71
Statutes, is amended to read: 72
760.10 Unlawful employment practices.— 73
(11) Each employer, employment agency, and labor 74
organization shall post and keep posted in conspicuous places 75

upon its premises, or on the Internet in a manner that is 76
accessible to the employer's employees, a notice provided by the 77
commission setting forth such information as the commission 78
deems appropriate to effectuate the purposes of ss. 760.01-79
760.10. 80
Section 7. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026. 81
