2 An act relating to land use regulations; defining the
3 term “impacted local government”; providing
4 applicability; providing an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

8 Section 1.
(1) A
s used in this section, the term “impacted
9
local government” means a county listed in the Federal Disaster
10
Declaration for Hurricane Debby (DR-4806), Hurricane Helene (DR
11
4828), or Hurricane Milton (DR-4834) which was designated or
12
within which a tribal area was designated as eligible for both
13
individual assistance and public assistance under the Robert T.
14
Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C.
15
ss. 5121 et seq., and each municipality within one of those
16
counties.

(2)
Effective July 1, 2026, section 28 of chapter 2025-190,
18
Laws of Florida, applies only to a county or municipality that
19
is
an impacted local government
.
20 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
