13 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

15 Section 1. Section 193.6245, Florida Statutes, is created
16 to read:

As used in this section, the term “changes or

includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

Improving the strength of the roof deck attachment

Creating a secondary water barrier to prevent water

Installing wind-resistant shingles

Installing gable-end bracing

Reinforcing roof-to-wall connections
