2 A resolution recognizing and commending The Ripple
3 Project for its invaluable service, dedication, and
4 tireless commitment to raising awareness of and
5 funding for a cure for childhood cancer.

7 WHEREAS, The Ripple Project is a dedicated nonprofit
8 organization based in Tallahassee which was founded with the
9 singular, noble mission of driving meaningful change in the
10 fight against childhood cancer, and
11 WHEREAS, the organization undertakes the critical work of
12 raising vital public awareness concerning the devastating impact
13 of pediatric cancer on children and families throughout this
14 state and the nation, and
15 WHEREAS, The Ripple Project tirelessly commits its
16 resources and energy to raising funds, promoting awareness, and
17 providing tangible support to families going through cancer
18 diagnoses and treatments, and
19 WHEREAS, the members, volunteers, and board of directors of
20 The Ripple Project demonstrate exemplary compassion, leadership,
21 and community spirit in their unwavering commitment to securing
22 a brighter, cancer-free future for all children, and
23 WHEREAS, the Florida Senate wishes to commend and celebrate
24 the extraordinary efforts and profound impact of The Ripple
25 Project as it represents the very best of community action and
26 philanthropic endeavor in the capital city, NOW, THEREFORE,

28 Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

30 That the Florida Senate hereby recognizes and commends The
31 Ripple Project for its invaluable service, dedication, and
32 tireless commitment to raising awareness of and funding for a
33 cure for childhood cancer.
34 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution, with
35 the Seal of the Senate affixed, be presented to The Ripple
36 Project as a tangible expression of the Florida Senate’s respect
37 and gratitude for its work.
