Section 37-54, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is
amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows:

For purposes of this section, "state
funds" [

moneys that have come into the
possession of a state officer or employee who has

behalf of the State for the initial custody, accountability, and disposition of
the moneys.
