Tony M. McCombie SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED: 615 ILCS 10/1 from Ch. 19, par. 79 Amends the Illinois Waterway Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the construction of the Illinois Waterway. LRB104 11730 LNS 21819 b A BILL FOR HB2260 LRB104 11730 LNS 21819 b 1 AN ACT concerning transportation. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Waterway Act is amended by 5 changing Section 1 as follows: 6 (615 ILCS 10/1) (from Ch. 19, par. 79) 7 Sec. 1. A deep waterway shall be constructed from the the 8 water power plant of the Sanitary District of Chicago, at or 9 near Lockport, in the township of Lockport, in the County of 10 Will, to a point in the Illinois River at or near Utica.
