SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

In addition to any amounts heretofore appropriated for
Community-Based Services for Persons with Developmental Disabilities and
for Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled and
Alternative Community Programs, appropriates $10,000,000 from the General
Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to fund transition grants
awarded under the Section 14(c) transition program to assist community
agencies with active or pending 14(c) certificates transition away from
subminimum wages for workers with disabilities. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5.
"An Act concerning appropriations", approved
5
with items reduced June 16, 2025, Public Act 104-3, is amended
6
by adding Section 87 to Article 55 as follows:

(P.A. 104-3, Art. 55, Sec. 87 new)

Sec. 87.
In addition to any amounts heretofore
9
appropriated to the Department of Human Services for
10
Community-Based Services for Persons with Developmental
11
Disabilities and for Intermediate Care Facilities for the
12
Developmentally Disabled and Alternative Community Programs,
13
the amount of $10,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be
14
necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
15
the Department of Human Services to fund transition grants
16
awarded under the Section 14(c) transition program to assist
17
community agencies with active or pending 14(c) certificates
18
transition away from subminimum wages for workers with
19
disabilities.

Section 99.
Effective date.
This Act takes effect upon
21
becoming law.
