SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Makes appropriations from various funds to the Office of the
Comptroller for its ordinary and contingent expenses in State fiscal year
2027. Effective July 1, 2026.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5.
The sum of $31,820,800, or so much thereof as
5
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6
Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
7
Office of the State Comptroller, which includes in part, the
8
approximate sum of $250,000 for the Comptroller's Office of
9
Inspector General.

Section 10.
The sum of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as
11
may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Comptroller
12
from the Comptroller's Administrative Fund for the discharge
13
of duties of the office.

Section 15.
The sum of $50,300, or so much thereof as may
15
be necessary, is appropriated to the State Comptroller from
16
the State Lottery Fund for expenses in connection with the
17
State Lottery.

Section 20.
The sum of $111,371,200, or so much thereof as
19
may be necessary, is appropriated from the Personal Property
20
Tax Replacement Fund to the State Comptroller for ordinary and

contingent expenses associated with the payment to official

Court reporters pursuant to law.

The following named amounts, or so much

thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
