"Mickey" Altman of the Chicago Fire 5 Department, who passed away on March 17, 2026 due to injuries 6 sustained in the line of duty; and 7 WHEREAS, Mickey Altman, born on January 13, 1994, proudly 8 served as a firefighter of the Chicago Fire Department for the 9 past two years, and he was a dedicated member of Pipefitters 10 Local 597 for eight years; and 11 WHEREAS, Mickey Altman had a passion for life and the 12 people around him, and he found joy in partaking in jiu-jitsu 13 training, playing 16-inch softball in the summer, and spending 14 time on the golf course; and 15 WHEREAS, Mickey Altman was, above all, deeply dedicated to 16 his family and his service to others; his courage, loyalty, 17 and commitment to his community will never be forgotten; and 18 WHEREAS, Mickey Altman was the husband of Nora (Fiorella) 19 Altman; the father of Theodore and Baby Girl Altman; the son of 20 Mark and Mary Altman; the brother of Marki and Sara (Thomas) 21 McIntyre; the son-in-law of Steven "Jocko" and Linda Fiorella; HR0756 - 2 - LRB104 21283 LAW 36015 r 1 the brother-in-law of Natalie, Andrew, Michael (Courtney), and 2 Steven (Katie) Fiorella; and the uncle, cousin, and friend of 3 many; therefore, be it 4 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 5 HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 6 we mourn the passing of Firefighter Michael E.
