HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Illinois Association of Community Care
3
Program Homecare Providers (IACCPHP) is a statewide
4
organization representing agencies and professionals dedicated
5
to delivering essential home-based and community-based
6
services to older adults and individuals with disabilities
7
throughout the State of Illinois; and

8

WHEREAS, Community Care Program homecare providers play a
9
vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of
10
life by enabling thousands of Illinois residents to remain
11
safely in their homes and communities; and

12

WHEREAS, The services provided through the Community Care
13
Program help strengthen families, reduce unnecessary
14
institutionalization, and support the efficient use of public
15
resources while meeting the growing needs of Illinois' aging
16
population; and

17

WHEREAS, IACCPHP serves as an advocate for high-quality
18
care, workforce development, and sound public policy while
19
fostering collaboration among providers, policymakers, and
20
community stakeholders; and

21

WHEREAS, On April 15, 2026, IACCPHP members plan to visit

the Illinois General Assembly to share their expertise,
2
experiences, and perspectives on the importance of sustaining
3
and strengthening homecare services across the State;
4
therefore, be it

5

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
6
HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
7
we commend the Illinois Association of Community Care Program
8
Homecare Providers (IACCPHP) and its members for their
9
commitment to compassionate care, their advocacy on behalf of
10
Illinois residents, and their continued service to communities
11
throughout the State of Illinois; and be it further

12

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13
presented to the leadership of IACCPHP as a symbol of our
14
esteem and respect.
