HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3
Representatives wish to congratulate Massac Memorial Hospital
4
on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding; and

5

WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital first began providing
6
health care services on April 14, 1956 and since then has been
7
a cornerstone of healthcare in Massac County and the
8
surrounding region, delivering high-quality, compassionate
9
medical care to generations of patients; and

10

WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital has grown over the past
11
seven decades and adapted to meet the evolving healthcare
12
needs of the community, expanding its services, embracing
13
innovation, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to
14
patient-centered care; and

15

WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital's success and longevity
16
are a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and
17
compassion of its physicians, nurses, healthcare
18
professionals, staff, and volunteers, who work tirelessly to
19
ensure the health and well-being of those they serve; and

20

WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital has benefited from the
21
generosity and support of philanthropic individuals and

organizations whose contributions have strengthened its

mission and ensured continued access to quality healthcare for
3
residents of Southern Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital's commitment to

excellence has made it a trusted and indispensable
6
institution, improving lives and strengthening the community
7
it proudly serves; therefore, be it

8

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
9
HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
10
we congratulate Massac Memorial Hospital on the 70th
11
anniversary of its founding, and we commend the dedicated
12
healthcare professionals, staff, volunteers, and philanthropic
13
supporters whose contributions have made Massac Memorial
14
Hospital a lasting success; and be it further

15

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16
presented to Massac Memorial Hospital as a symbol of our
17
respect and esteem.
