SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3
congratulate the Leo High School choir, the Lions, on being
4
selected to compete on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and

5

WHEREAS, Leo High School is an all-boys Catholic school
6
located on Chicago's South Side; and

7

WHEREAS, The Lions, over the course of Season 20,
8
performed covers of such hits as "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy
9
and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, among others; and

10

WHEREAS, The Lions earned a spot to compete against nine
11
other acts on the America's Got Talent season finale on
12
September 24, 2025, performing "Hall of Fame" by The Script
13
and attaining fourth place; and

14

WHEREAS, The Lions are led by music/choir director LaDonna
15
Hill; therefore, be it

16

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
17
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the
18
Leo High School choir, the Lions, on their achievement of
19
competing on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and be it
20
further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be

presented to LaDonna Hill and the members of the Lions as a

symbol of our esteem and respect.
