SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to

congratulate the North Central District of the NANBPWC, Inc.
4
(National Association of Negro Business and Professional
5
Women's Clubs) as they prepare to host the North Central
6
District Regional Conference in Chicago on May 15-17, 2026;
7
and

8

WHEREAS, NANBPWC has empowered women through leadership
9
development, economic advancement, and community service for
10
more than 50 years and is committed to creating opportunities
11
that strengthen individuals and the communities they serve;
12
and

13

WHEREAS, NANBPWC's regional conference will bring together
14
business and professional women, entrepreneurs, community
15
leaders, and advocates from across the North Central region;
16
and

17

WHEREAS, NANBPWC and the City of Chicago are committed to
18
supporting organizations that uplift and empower women in
19
business and leadership; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the
