A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning education.

Educational information on type 1 diabetes.

Requires the department of education (department) to develop informational materials concerning type 1 diabetes for the parents of students and to publish the materials on the department's website. Requires public schools, including charter schools, to provide the informational materials concerning type 1 diabetes to a student's parent each year upon the student's enrollment.
