cooperation

cemetery

associations,

and

other

nonprofit

governmental

entities,

may

use

inmate

labor

during

the

fiscal

year

beginning

July

1,

2025,

to

restore

or

preserve

rural

cemeteries

and

historical

landmarks.

The

department,

in

cooperation

with

the

counties,

may

also

use

inmate

labor

to

clean

up

roads,

major

water

sources,

and

other

water

sources

around

state.
