purposes

of

this

section:

“Child

care”

means

the

same

as

defined

in

section

237A.1.

b.

“Child

care

assistance

program”

means

the

state

child

care

assistance

program

established

in

section

237A.13.

“Foster

child”

means

a

child

receiving

child

foster

care

as

that

term

is

defined

in

section

237.1.

The

department

shall

amend

the

department’s

administrative

rules

pursuant

to

chapter

to

require

the

department

to

pay

for

child

care

provided

to

a

foster

child

in

the

the

with

special

needs.
