read

as

follows:

(1)

Sell

or

dispense

any

alcoholic

beverage

on

the

premises

covered

by

the

license,

or

permit

its

consumption

thereon

between

the

hours

of

2:00

a.m.

and

6:00

a.m.

on

any

day

of

the

week.

This

subparagraph

does

not

apply

during

the

time

6

period

beginning

one

hour

before

a

scheduled

flight

through

the

7

end

of

boarding

for

the

flight

at

a

commercial

service

airport.

paragraph,

“commercial

service

airport”

means

the

same

as

defined

in

49

U.S.C.

§47102.

The

inclusion

this

explanation

does

constitute

agreement

This

bill

modifies

the

time

periods

alcoholic

beverages

may

14

be

sold,

dispensed,

or

consumed

at

commercial

service

airports.

Currently,

alcoholic

beverages

are

prohibited

from

being

16

sold,

dispensed,

or

consumed

on

licensed

premises

between

17

2:00

a.m.

and

6:00

a.m.

in

this

state.

The

bill

creates

18

an

exception

to

the

prohibited

time

period

by

authorizing

19

alcoholic

beverages

to

be

sold,

dispensed,

or

consumed

on

20

licensed

premises

at

a

commercial

service

airport

beginning

21

one

hour

before

a

scheduled

flight

through

the

end

of

boarding

22

for

the

flight.

The

bill

defines

“commercial

service

airport”

23

as

a

public

airport

in

the

state

that

the

U.S.

secretary

24

of

transportation

determines

has

at

least

2,500

passenger

25

boardings

each

year

and

is

receiving

scheduled

passenger

26

aircraft

service.
