workforce

development

board

may

add

to

the

list

of

high-demand

jobs

as

it

deems

necessary.

For

purposes

of

this

subsection

,

“high-demand

job”

means

a

job

in

the

state

that

the

board,

or

a

community

college

in

accordance

with

this

subsection

has

identified

in

accordance

with

this

subsection

The

regents

shall,

2026

meeting

of

the

state

board

of

regents,

submit

a

report

to

the

general

assembly

and

to

the

governor

20

that

describes

how

the

state

board

of

regents

could

establish

21

a

performance-based

funding

model

for

the

institutions

of

22

higher

education

governed

by

the

state

board

of

regents.

The

23

performance-based

funding

model

must

include,

at

a

minimum,

all

24

of

the

following

factors:

25

1.

Graduation

rates.

26

2.

The

number

of

degrees

awarded

in

areas

corresponding

to

27

high-demand

jobs

in

this

state.

28

3.

Post-graduation

employment

rates.

29

4.

Post-graduation

income.

30

5.

The

number

of

graduates

who

remain

in

this

state

after

31

graduation.
