this

section:

“Campground”

means

the

same

as

defined

in

section

557B.l.

b.

“Department”

means

the

department

of

natural

resources.

“Floodplain”

means

the

same

as

“floodplains”

as

defined

455B.261.

A

campground

operating

in

a

floodplain

in

the

state

of

Iowa

shall

have

all

of

the

following:

a.

An

emergency

alarm

system

installed

and

operating

within

the

campground

that

can

function

without

an

internet

connection.

Emergency

evacuation

directions

posted

in

all

occupied

structures.

The

department

shall

have

the

power

and

authority

reasonably

necessary

to

effectuate

this

section.
