license

for
the

premises
licensed
under
a
class

wine
permit
where
the
manufacturing
of

occurs.

granted

This
bill
increases
the
number
of
class
“C”
retail
alcohol

licenses
or
special
class
“C”
retail
native
wine
licenses

allowed
for
a
native
winery.

Under
current
law,
a
native
winery
may
be
granted
not
24
more
than
two
class
“C”
retail
alcohol
licenses
or
special
25
class
“C”
retail
native
wine
licenses.
A
class
“C”
retail
26
alcohol
license
allows
for
the
purchase,
sale,
and
on-premises
27
consumption
of
alcoholic
liquor,
wine,
and
beer
and
the
sale
28
of
alcoholic
liquor,
wine,
and
beer
in
original
unopened
29
containers
for
consumption
off
the
premises.
A
special
class
30
“C”
retail
native
wine
license
allows
beer
and
native
wine
to
31
be
sold
for
on-premises
or
off-premises
consumption.
The
bill
32
allows
native
wine
manufacturers
to
be
issued
not
more
than
33
three
of
the
currently
authorized
retail
alcohol
licenses.

The
bill
does
not
amend
nearly
identical
licensing
