the

that

is

higher

than

the

price

posted,

displayed,

represented

on

the

retailer’s

shelf,

or

of

consumer

selection

at

the

time

the

consumer

selected

the

item.

This

paragraph

does

not

prohibit

a

retailer

from

charging

a

lower

price

at

checkout

than

the

price

posted,

displayed,

or

otherwise

represented

at

the

time

the

consumer

selected

the

item.

types

of

remedies

are

available

if

a

court

finds

that

a

person

has

committed

an

unlawful

practice,

including

injunctive

relief,

disgorgement

of

moneys

or

property,

and

civil

penalties

not

to

exceed

$40,000

per

violation.
